Considering he's got Eddie Vedder in his band . . .

. . . and that they're playing gigs as far away as Portland, and getting write-ups, and having success in Belgium - and Italy - is Citizen Dick supposed to be a relatively successful Seattle-based band?

EDIT - I just got to the end where he's delivering flowers and still working in the coffehouse, so that sort of answers my question. So is he just completely BSing about the Europe stuff, or do they actually have a label and are selling there?

I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

I lived in seattle in 1989 and 1990, and i believe i remember seeing CITIZEN DICK advertised in various music & arts oriented newspapers at that time...I think it is a real band....or was a real band at that time.

I always assumed that he was full of it about Belgium and Italy. When they showed the review that completely trashed him as an artist it was pretty apparent that he was more talented in his head than he really was on stage.
