Removing plastic wrap from LP coincidental?

Just stumbled across this scene while flipping channels ... did it strike anyone else as odd or ironic when Linda (Kyra Sedgwick) absentmindedly takes the plastic wrap off of one of Steve's albums while they're chatting? He had just said in a previous scene that he had been a DJ in college and that they were obviously older albums... I just find it ironic because he had take it as a "sign" that she was a special )I.e., thoughtful) person because she had unlocked his car door for him and now here she is stripping off the plastic wrap of one of his albums. I always look for moments like these on scenes in the trivia section of IMDb, hoping to find that it was a purposeful action by the writer, the director, or the actor and I'm hoping that it was!
