Heddy never existed.

It was an Allison's imaginary friend. Allison get away from murdering boyfriend and boss. ;-)

Not a bad interpretation if they didn't shoot a scene of Heddy working at the book store, but they could've gone this direction if they removed that and a few other things.

I like this type of thread. That's why I'm bumping it last: So it can be on top.

I will say that they were the same person.

Who cares about the book store? Allie could easily get a job at the book store part time.

I`m sorry for my lack of manners, but I`m not used to escorting men.

Where did Buddy come from?

A women's version of Fight Club? I like it!!!

reply

I like this, too. I'd never considered an alternative ending, but this seems plausible. I was thinking about the scene when Allie and Hedy are fighting. It reminded me of Flatliners when Keifer Sutherland was fighting with Billy Mahoney; he is the only one who can see him.

She did it! She did it! The lady with the grape!

Yet another conspiracy theorist! It's just a movie.

Not all conspiracy is a theory. Think about it.

Wow I though I knew this movie…but you're right all the victims were the people who harmed Allison in some way…maybe Hedy was Allison's "dead twin" in her mind who saved her from potential predators?…VERY INTERESTING

reply

What about Graham, her upstairs neighbor? How did he harm Allie?

reply

Banging on the floor while she was having a bath.

reply

I don't remember that. He banged on the floor?

reply

He might have!

Ever had an upstairs neighbour?

It can get real, real quick!
