I never understood this line

In the very beginning when the biker bullies pull up to the bar (or whatever it was) and they suggest coming in.

The blond guy, David's friend, says to him, "Well, your sister can come in but she'll have to wash her hands first." What the heck does that mean?

If he's implying that his sister is a slut or gets around, why would he say wash her hands, of all things?!! Why not "wash her mouth out"?

reply

David actually says that line. 5 minutes before the bikers pull up, Bear says to David that Kocus' sister gave him a h*nd job a couple of days before. When David says it.. Bear cracks up. And for good reason.

reply

Minor correction: Bear makes the remark about Kocus' sister after the bikers pull up and he sees Kocus.

Fowler's knots? Did you say ... fowler's knots?

reply

Bear makes remark about being with Kocus' sister. David makes remark about her washing her hands when Kocus wants to come in to the diner.

reply

Correct. I was just pointing out that both Bear's and David's remarks about Kocus take place after Kocus has arrived outside the diner, not five minutes before.

His sister gave him a hand job according to Bear, that is why David made the had washing crack. (I know what you meant, but the op might not get the joke if the answer is "Bear makes remark about being with Kocus' sister.")

I really like your car Mrs. Larusso!

But the only way Kocus would take offence is if he KNEW that his sis gave Bear a handy.
Which he probably didn't - why would his sis tell him. And since it just happened and they travel in diff circles he probably wouln't have known.
So in that case Krocus' response should just have been HUH?
