When I was younger from 1993-1998 maybe there was this movie its about a white kid who joins a gang and they all get these jackets and he has an imaginary friends / ghost friends who trys to help him .. i dont really know the details but if anyone thinks they know what im talking about please respond ive been dying to know the name
Pretty vague to figure out what it could be, but I also seem to remember that being the plot for an episode of "Are You Afraid of the Dark" where all his friends in the new neighborhood are actually ghosts.
All I can remember is that he was the new kid in town, may have had a little brother, and he became friends with the neighborhood kids (aww, just like "The Sandlot"). I think then they had him try to steal something from this creepy old guys house to get "initiated" or whatever, and the guy points out all the kids died, then the new kid finds all their graves with their pictures on them.
oh man that was a messed up episode. man what happened to that show? it was awesome. i'm almost 22 yrs old and i would still watch are you afraid of the dark? lol its crazy...i remember being really freaked out when they found the graves with the pictures. who puts pictures on grave stones?

Though Salute your shorts is my favorite, it comes out on dvd later this year along with "Are You Afraid of The Dark?" You can look it up on the internet
OMG!! I actually know what movie your talking about. I was flipping channels one day and I saw the exact same movie, the one where a gang of James Dean wannabes haunts a kid form their old neighborhood. The part I remember is when the kids run into a church and the ghosts chase them but as soon as they step foot in the church their feet catch on fire.
Sorry I couldn't help you out about the title. I thought I was the only one to see that movie. Glad I didn't imagine it.
