finally on t.v.

If anyone out there has comcast digital cable... this fine funny film is on demand for free. This makes me wonderfully happy as I could not even find this film on BlockBuster online. All anyone had were old vhs copies. Still a wonderful film with one of the best soundtracks around if you love the 80's.

I noticed this last night. I will be taping it.

I saw that it is scheduled for this week as well. Unfortunately my cable network provider does not list Starz comedy channel as one of the stations that I receive. I did attempt to tape it last month, but the timer on the dvr got all fouled up and never did get past the point where Roger (Hugh Laurie) addresses his friends regarding Mary (Imelda Staunton).

Hopefully it will be rebroadcast on a channel in my area in the not too distant future.

Caught the last ten minutes of it now. Darn. It wasn't listed on any of the tv-now.com listings for any of the actors nor in the newspapers. Frustrating to say the least. If I hadn't been channel surfing, I would have missed the whole thing. Maybe I wouldn't have been annoyed that way.

This film is available new in UK for 5GBP, seems cheaper than USA. if you have a multiregion player. IMO it is a good film and interesting enough to own. It is truly an ensemble piece, so no major time with HL, (but he does play the piano) and lovely to see so many friends working together.
