Sequel
If Kenneth Branagh and Emma Thompson hadn't got divorced we might have had a sequel in 2002 in which Peter and his friends meet up again another ten years later.
The film would have begun with a montage of news clips from 1992 to 2002, starting with John Major and ending with Tony Blair, accompanied by Blur's House in the Country.
