Never noticed before or thought about it but
Kermit is hardly in this and Miss Piggy has even less time. But of course is still memorable as usual.

shareTo be fair the character of Bob Cratchit isn't in the original Christmas Carol story all that much either. The story mainly focuses on Scrooge and he only interacts with Bob either at work or when the Ghost of Christmas Present takes him to see Bobs family. And at the end.
So Kermit and Miss Piggy couldn't really be in this much more than they already are.
It did strike me that Miss Piggy doesn't appear until about 45 minutes have passed. Of course she still steals the scene once she's in it.
I thought about that recently too. Aside from Gonzo and Rizzo who are main characters, the other well-known muppets are supporting with a scene or two or just cameos.
shareFozzie was included in the poster(s), but only had like one speaking scene.

To be fair, is there a rule that states that those 2 have to be the protagonists of every movie?
