He is my favorite actor to play Scrooge! Any time I think of A Christmas Carol I always think of Michael Caine. And this is my favorite version of my favorite story.

Me too :) This movie both introduced me and made me a fan of Michael Caine :). He brought such emotion to the role. He makes me cry one instance, then smile the next.

he is my favourite Scrooge too. And this is the best version, it sticks very closely to the original. And miss piggy undoubtedly has her best role as mrs Cratchitt.
