Did Mr. Caine win any awards for his role?

My mum and I are watching right now, and she is absolutely loving Michael Caine in this! She's asking me if he was nominated for any best actor awards, and obviously I don't know. So, was he?

Nope, nothing. Even the movie itself only seemed to be up for a Grammy and some kind of fantasy award for directing

I'm not sure what competition he had for any awards but I love that he plays his role in all seriousness even though he's playing opposite puppets (or Muppets, rather)..
