Still being pissed about a 30 year old pee wee Hockey game.

actually, of the two, Gordon seems to be the one who's still pissed about it. Understandably as he was a kid and, given the unfortunate timing, he also associates that game his father's death

Hes not pissed. Hes subtly taking shots at Gordon throughout that scene. "Banks is not as talented as you were, but he wants it more". That game meant a lot more to Gordon than riley. It was his childhood. Riley wins the championship every year. Riley was just rubbing it in.
