Queen music removed from TV showing

Anyone know why the Queen songs, "We are the Champions", has been removed straight after conway scores and furthermore, the final song, "We will rock you", for the final credits?

I assume it's about royalties :(

Unfortunately this is the case where a lot of films music gets changed. The production company paid for the songs by Queen to be used in the film, however they may have stipulated that any other medium must use different artists etc.

Or it's a case of the network showing the film not having permission to use the music.

I just watched it on TV and there was no Queen.
Usually the music will stay in tact for TV showings, but will be cut for home video releases. Lots of TV shows have done this. Most TV stations probably have blanket music licenses so that they can play any music. I'm pretty sure Queen was on my VHS copy from back in the day. I have never bought it on DVD as Disney has pretty much disrespected the film by having poor transfers and little to no extras.

You could buy them on Amazon Prime...they're not that expensive. They have all the music on there.
