Mighty Ducks DVD quality is bad!

I was just watching this on DVD recently and the quality is just slightly better than a VHS copy. The picture is just cropped into widescreen format and is still very grainy and fuzzy. It doesn't look like DVD quality. Is there another release somewhere that I don't know about or is it coming to blu-ray to have a better picture quality?

It looks like a VHS copy when I watch the movie on DVD but if you want to own the HD version you can buy it off ITunes or get an Apple TV if you want to watch it in HD on the TV. DVD copy is crap.

You can buy them on Amazon prime...they have a better quality. And the price is not that bad.
