References to Mighty Ducks in Inside Out...

A character called Riley who's life revolves around hockey (spelt differently but pronounced the same).

Both films have the state of Minnesota playing a key role.

When Riley is at her try-out she swings her stick, misses the puck and falls over, just like Charlie Conway did in the first Hawks game.

I'm not really sure, could be a coincidence. Wouldn't make a ton of sense to name her after a villain but they're both Disney movies afterall.

As far as Minnesota goes, that's just a hockey hotbed in the U.S. That's where a lot of great American hockey players come from and they're huge into hockey there.
