I am so happy I was a kid in the early 90's!!!

Kids of the 90s! We seriously had some of the best family film around! I look at the films they make for kids now and feel sorry for the new generation.
I watched "The mighty Ducks" today and it was like stepping back to a much simpler time. Before Disney became corrupted by money , when they cared about making films that the entire family could enjoy instead of trying to make money out of little girls who dreams to be pop stars.
I loved the film but there is always a bittersweet nostalgia for the good old days attached to it !

Born in '93, so those are the movies that aired on TV all the time when I was a kid. I loved them back then, and I still love them today. Its a shame my cousins who were born in '97 and '99 are part of a generation that hasn't seen most of those movies.

reply

I was born in 92,but I watched all these when was like 5-7,I am glad I was able to get a taste of the 90s

Yep. Us 80s kids enjoyed the best time ever...mid 80s to early 90s. Just great stuff. Kids are *beep* now. Just nothing but manufactured garbage, constant texting, and *beep*

True words!

I agree with you my friend, movies like Home Alone 1 and 2, Mighty ducks films, and Little Giants made for a memorable childhood. We also had Sega Genesis where I could penjoy beating Sonic and Aladdin.

Ho aladin , I loved that game , I felt like I was playing a cartoon. When I was little I believed those were the best graphics ever!

I was born in 89 so I would have been like 3 when the mighty ducks came out? Or is my math off?

The member berries in this thread are outstanding!

Well, you're still young and if this is on TV, the advertisers will desire you...try being a 1930s era child..being 96 or something. You'rte still 30 or something and the younger kids love this..too.

It isn;t so much going bakc i tie as Disney has the Ducks team but I agree..luckily tv syations like Disney themsevles show these so a newer audience can see them. Go DUCKS!
