Blooper that might not be a blooper.
The one goof IMDB has listed to El Mariachi might be wrong. He killed 3 of Moco's men and the dude in the bathroom. Maybe the guy in the bathroom wasn't one of Moco's men.

This has been bothering me since I first seen the film. Azul doesn't actually kill anyone in the prison, his "bodyguard" kills the first one, then the rest of the prisoners shoot down the rest while Azul lets Moco hear this through the phone. He then kills the 4 men in the bar in the bar. The mariachi then "thinks" he killed four men but only killed three. So thats ten dead bad guys anyway.
Maybe the mariachi was supposed to kill all four of the bad guys but Rodriguez decided against killing of the one with the sunglasses cause he was big. Rodriguez said he needed his "big" bad guys for the film.
Sorry, this doesnt solve anything.
If you want to get technical the Mariachi only killed one, the other two killed each other.
