I watched the movie yesterday, but I missed like the first hour or so (because I wasw atching something else). I noticed the Nick Nolte's character had an accent, but Susan Sarandon's character didn't. Was Susan Sarandon's character supposed to e Italian as well?

Susan's character is named Michaela. She's an American born Irish.

Nick Nolte was playing Lorenzo's father Augusto who is Italian.
