Hey romefan123,

You need to practice on your film and character analysis. Michaela did what she could to help her son, Lorenzo, and anyone she saw as a threat to her son needed to go. Michaela is definitely an unsympathetic character in the film and she is the most over-protective of Lorenzo, yet the most driven to find a cure.
