I just love Peter Ustinov. I mean, in general, not just in this picture. But having him in this movie was the icing on the cake. As always, he makes the film experience more than perfect.
The other guy I really love is the British chemist who played himself fixing up the erucic acid extract.
Oh boy, do I agree! I have only seen Ustinov perform in this amazing movie and Spartacus(1960), but I fell in love with him in Spartacus many years ago. Amazing actor!
I too was appreciative of the British chemists natural performance. Everyone involved with this film contributed perfectly and beautifully.

If you ever get a chance to see The Egyptian (it's not on DVD) Ustinov steals the show as the thief/servant Kaptah.
