Mel Gibson still has his Australian accent in this movie
Can hear it come through a few times.

shareIronically, his accent wasn't as strong in earlier movies like Bird on a Wire (1990) and Tequila Sunrise (1988). It's like the character of Martin Riggs brings out the Aussie Gringo in Mel.
