...that the producers of this film chose to not follow Stephen King's original storyline when they made this film. Perhaps someday, Hollywood will actually make a version of "Lawnmower Man" that more closely follows Stephen King's original short story! We can only hope...

I would really like a further SK anthology feature with The Lawnmower Man as a short story segment, faithful to the original story.

Yes, I would love another anthology series like Nightmares & Dreamscapes that ran on TNT back about 15 years ago. The Battleground episode starring William Hurt was the best one!! Not a single word uttered throughout but Bill brought it. Such a fantastic actor. I miss him terribly.
Now if they were to make a new anthology series from King's short stories, there wouldn't have to be any restrictions like there was back in the day. They can let it all flow!! Blood, swearing, sex. It'd be great. And there are so many SK short stories that haven't been adapted yet.
