One of the locations for Knight Moves is said to be Hatley Castle in British Columbia.

That is correct. I was a student at Hatley Castle when it was a military academy back in the 80s.
It has been a filming location for many movies/series as listed in your link. A few missing items include the Deadpool movies, This Boy's Life with Robert De Niro and Leonardo Di Caprio and the TV series Mutant X.
My 10-year-old nephew was impressed when I told him that I was a "graduate" of the mutant academy. As proof, I showed him my picture in a class photo that hangs on the wall in the basement museum.
In Knight Moves, it was used for a few exterior scenes of the hotel that Lambert's character is staying in. When they move inside the hotel though, the interior locations were shot somewhere else. It was a big disconcerting to watch.
