Why do you care so much? It was just some random dude at the party that pocketed the gun...who cares what happened to him, he wasn't important to the film at all.

Bishop kills Q. Later on after Q's funeral Bishop gets stuck up by that guy who picked up the gun.
The final shot is the gun going off with a flash, and the red title being shown in black back round.
