What's up with the locker scene???

Q is opening his locker, a random dude comes up behind him and says, "Damn, has it been THAT LONG?"
And Q, defensively, says, "Wanna try that again after school?!"

What does that mean? I don't understand that scene.

reply

Because Q and his "wrecking crew" have been skipping school for so long it's a joke that he's actually back, even though it's only to hide from Bishop.

Bellz666 is right. The actual "Has it been that long" joke on Q comes from him not being able to remember his locker number. I always thought he was a little overly defensive in that scene too. BUT, when your best friend is killed by your other friend that's clearly going nuts, I suppose it makes for edgy times.

Thanks guys! :)

If I remember right, correct me if I'm wrong, it wasn't him forgetting is locker combination it was the dust that he blew off of his book.

naw it was def bc he couldnt remember his lock combination, bc after he starts punkin down the sheeezzzz talker, he opens his locker, dusts off his text books, and reveals tupac in straight thug fashion

anyone notice? the kid who said that to him is Donald Faison from Scrubs fame.

reply

Donald has been around forever. Same with guys like Tracey Morgan. I'll be watching tv shows and movies I loved in the 90s and there they are. It's nice to see them get their time after years of struggling. It should give the rest of us hope.
