A broke part time DJ is dating a nurse?

what I didn't understand-- Q is dating the Nurse (played by Cindy Herron), they're living together, I guess, or at least she's got her own apartment. But besides Q doing DJ contests, it doesn't show what he does for a living. The Nurse would have had to go to nursing school for, roughly 4 years, so she's at least 21, are all the guys in the crew roughly that age, or were some meant to still be in high school-- or are they presumed to be dropouts?

I guess the scenario presented with Q and the Nurse is not unprecedented, but she comes across as kind of a dim-bulb for having a seemingly jobless, and possibly much younger boyfriend..

were these guys meant to be seen as out of high school or what?

They were in high school (remember that whole scene at the beginning of them skipping school? Then running from truant officers?). As far as the Nurse dating a "loser", go outside and throw a rock. You'll probably hit a girl who is dating someone bad for her or dating a guy she thinks she can change.

Did you even see the movie? Or even the scene they had together?

She's still married, her estranged husband is the guy who opens the door and is upset that she's seeing someone so much younger. Their age difference is the whole point of that scene.

And they were clearly in high school. Didn't you see when Steel got caught by the truant cops and taken back to school from which he ran away? Or when Q decided to return and forgot his locker combination where he's mock by a nobody-Donald Faison?

Just because you are smart enough to be a nurse doesn't mean you aren't dumb enough to date a loser.

If she's a dim-bulb then what are you for not realizing that Q is a high-school student.

There were all kinds of signs including a scene where Q and Bishop are at, what for it, a school.

First off, Q was an excellent lover and the sex was great between them. Being a high school student was irrelevant. That didnt matter none. She didnt need nothing from Q as far as financial support,so they fit great. I think she saw Quincy as responsible guy mature beyond his years anyhow. She knew his better years were ahead of him. Maybe they stayed together, maybe she moved on? Who knows?

it was a sex thing.Frank couldn't hit it right anymore so she got Q.
