Why don't they make a TV sequel to this, but better than that piece of crap movie Man in the Mirror (although I like the title). Bring back Jason Weaver to finish up Michael's life. Bring back Angela Bassett, and Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs and put them in aging makeup. It could be good.
1) Jason Weaver is an adult now (like 30 or something). His voice has changed and he looks NOTHING like Michael as an adult. If the actor who played adult Michael in the movie was still alive, then he would've been a much better choice.
I like the idea of a sequel but more in an indirect way but I don't think we'll see 1 unless it's in an indirect way somehow. Plus, I think an MJ movie will take years before it's released - you need to clear a lot of the tabloid rumors 1st & you need time for that, we need to see the end of the trial, a script needs to be developed & a darn good director, & of course the cast, crew & production.
I agree, plus the person who'll play Michael HAS to be someone who liked him and adored. Plus can act and sing! I think it should be Usher or Adam Lambert, but mainly a impersonator of MJ and NOT the impersonator types that mock him like the one in the 'Man in the Mirror' "Biopic" (I like the title though).
I think it's also as equally important that they get someone who can act as well. I think a unknown actor-dancer would be best, as for the singing, he could just lipsynch it, but the acting & dancing, he'd have to do that on his own.
