Who was the guy that gave Rebbie away at her wedding?

Was it ever mentioned who the guy was that gave Rebbie away at her wedding? I think it is just sad how Joe didn't give her away. I hope he didn't act like that in real life I hope in real life he gave his own daughter away at her wedding.

No, unfortunately joe didn't give her away. He showed up to the wedding but refused to give her away because he disapproved of the marriage

It was Joe's father who gave her away
