A couple of questions:
1. Why did Michael get depressed after his brothers got married??
2. After the Victory tour, why didn't Michael perform with his brothers again??

Answer to Question 1:
He felt that by them getting married they would be breaking their fans' hearts. He also felt that a lot of their fans would stop listening to them if each of the boys got married. Like Tito said in the movie, the boys saw marriage as a one-way ticket out of their father's house & control.
Answer to Question #2:
I think Michael just wanted to focus more on his solo career, which was now taking off after the success of Thriller.
Plus the Victory tour had a lot of problems, particularly the sponsors & the people Joe got to handle the tour. Also, apparently MJ & his brothers apparently didn't have a smooth working relationship during the Victory tour.
As to the 1st question, I think MJ also felt in a way that his brothers were abandoning him by getting married. & in a way, that's how it turned out no? They weren't as close after.
