No oscar nod for Helena's performance?!?
WTF?!?She plays such an interesting and complexe caracter. She's also a real scene stealer.
[SPOILERS]The entire Horror genre was destroyed by sequels[/SPOILERS]

Not just nomination, her fascinating performance deserved an Oscar. I can't imagine any other actress could play Helen as good as Helena with such creatives. Strange that Academy which gave an Oscar to Marisa Tomei for "My Cousin Vinny" overlooked Helena.
shareHelena's performance, while good, was no scene-stealer. Particularly not from either Emma or Anthony.

I do think she should have got a Best Supporting nomination. However 1992 was a strong year for supporting roles for women (Miranda Richardson for both Damages and Enchanted April, Vanessa Redgrave for Howards End, Judy Davis for Husband and Wives, Joan Plowright for Enchanted April, and Marissa Tomei for My Cousin Vinny).
