Leonard leaving his desk and walking ..



right out of London, all day and all night. Havn't we all wanted to do this from time to time. It sort of parallells with Michael Douglas just abandoning his car in Falling Down. But forget that movie, Howard's End is the ultimate movie experience that sucks you in, gets your heart beating fast.

My all time favourite scene that gets the hairs on the back of my neck stand up is Leonard walking through the field of bluebells. The simple shots of nature are beautiful in this film. I love Leonard cos he brings out the dreamer in us.

Can anyone tell me what the piece playing during Leonard's journey is ..

Yes!! It's from the original score of this film by Richard Robbins. I happen to agree that this is maybe the most "magical" scene in the film and the music makes it all the more gorgeous. As far as I know, the score is available on CD.
