Yes it is an amusing and enjoyable romantic comedy, nothing extraordinary and fairly predictable, but still a nice fun movie.

I'd say 50/50. Goldie Hawn and Dana Delany are great. Steve Martin is sometimes funny, sometimes not. There are some good moments and some horribly cringe worthy ones. Probably depends on the mood you're in when you watch it.
