This movie feels...
like a hard PG-13 or maybe even an R, not a PG, I mean just for its sexual content.

shareWhat sexual content? There was very little, the closest thing to it was the scene with Newton and Becky. Newton and Gwen were never even seen in bed together. It was no where near an R and there wasn't even any talk to make it a PG-13. I don't know what movie you watched.

Actually I still think it would be rated R today for the graphic sex scene.
What graphic sex scene? Did we watch the same movie?
shareI have to say I am quite surprised by its PG rating because there was some swearing, sex references and such.
shareThat could still be a PG in 1992.
shareYep. I still find it interesting that how many late 80s/early 90s PG/G movies would never be able to get a PG rating today (this movie definitely included and 'who framed roger rabbit' would never have been released as it was back then. It would have been more heavily edited to get a PG. Oh and there's 'all dogs go to heaven').
