Why was the bathtub in the same room as the bed?
Well, who puts the bathroom and the bedroom in the same room?
Or did I miss something there?

Never heard of an "en suite"?
shareEn suite is not "in" suite. Unless you're living in a really cruddy place (or your Gwyneth Paltrow) you're tub and your bed are not going to be right next to each other. In fact I still don't get this new obsession people (Paltrow for example) have with putting the tub in the bedroom. It's bizarre. Call me old fashioned but I like my bathroom and my bedroom to be separated by a door (or at least if it"s one of those houses where there isn't a door, in a separate connected room).
If we don't believe in freedom of expression for people we despise, we don't believe in it at all
You're old fashioned. Just because you "don't get it" doesn't make it "bizarre".
This will be the high point of my day; it's all downhill from here.
At first I thought it was that she was being quirky and wanted to put a bed in the bathroom. Then I noticed that there wasn't a toilet or a sink.
shareSomething about it just feels a bit unsanitary! And walking around on carpet after a bath sounds very odd!
When you're 17 a cow can seem dangerous and forbidden...am I alone here?
