Is this anything near the original 'House'?

This is one of the worst movies ever made...really crap..


By the way,I like House II a lot,it is not a masterpiece like the first one,but it is a funny comedy/fantasy...And Slim Reezor is one of the best horror villians!


I recommend you to rent it,if you are a House fan,only to see all the films of the franchise...If you don't like House a lot...don't bother...

It's not all that good and the fact that they kill off Roger (and in such a horrific and depressing way) really ruins it. It had some stand out scenes like the bloody shower and the talking pizza but is mostly a letdown when compared with the first movie and even the second. I wouldn't really recommend this film unless you wanna say you've seen all the House movies.

It shares no real continuity either despite the fact that William Katt returns as Roger Cobb, but it's pretty clearly not the same character from the original. Here, he has a daughter instead of a son, has a different wife, and the events of the first film aren't even mentioned plus it's a totally different house. I don't even consider it canonical. Roger is one of my favorite protagonists in a horror film and there's no way in hell I'm gonna accept his fate as getting burned alive from a car wreck in a disappointing sequel. Screw that.
