Did anyone here actually watch this move in the theater?
If so, what did you think at the time?
How many people in the theater?
Did you go out and buy the VHS ASAP?

I remember seeing it in theaters. It was same experience as Home Alone seeing it in a sold out theater. I think I remember seeing it with my parents and a few friends for my birthday.
shareSaw it in the theater.
But it was over 30 years ago and I was 12. Wasn't really counting people, I just wanted to watch the movie and have popcorn.
Yep, my sister, mom, and I watched it in theaters. We were a little late, and missed everything till the passport running scene.
Theater, totally packed.
My cousin purchased the VHS when it was released. I think we ended up watching it 3x that day lol Good times.
Yes back in March 1993 at a discount theater, I thought it was a very good sequel to the classic original, there was a moderate amount of people in the theater when I saw this movie.
shareI did.
Not quite as good as the first one.
Don't remember but there were probably a good number.
No.
For whatever reason my mom wouldn't take me to go see this one in theaters and it killed me inside. I didn't get a chance to see it until it came out in rental stores and they had rented it at my mom's job at the old folks home. The thing was I was only there until the mechanic called to say the work van was ready then we had to go out on a long trip to go get it and we ended up leaving right as Kevin was just getting settled in to New York and again it killed me inside. I wonder why my mom wanted to torture me so? At this point Home Alone was my entire life.
shareI did and I loved it. I did go out and buy the VHS ASAP. There were a lot of people in the theater.
