I liked the movie and wondered if anyone knows what kind of car Richard Farnsworth loaned them?

I believe that would be your basic 1948 Ford Coupe.

it's a 1940 ford coupe if you love how it looks there's also the 1941 willys which looks similar and you can buy as a kit car check out kit car magazine

Thanks wbnimrod,you're probably right. I saw a restored 1941 Graham Hollywood once and thought maybe that was it. It would help if I could find a tape of the movie or see it again on TV.
