Wow. This movie's cameos!

I saw this movie as a kid, only in pieces, and it was the stuff of nightmares (Charon's sewed eyes!). But, finally watching the full thing as an adult, I find it to be just a very campy dark comedy. Overly mushy and silly perhaps. Average.

But seeing it now, and confirming with IMDB, wow...

The entire Stiller family is in it (mom, dad, brother, sister). The Ben Stiller show (and most of his movies) have been favorites since childhood.

Gilbert Gottfried, who I watched religiously as a kid with my dad on UP ALL NIGHT.

Kevin Peter Hall's last film (his Predator movie being my all-time favorite)

Skilled guitarist Lita Ford's only movie (I love The Runaway's music and recent movie)

Kristy Swanson (YMMV, IMHO, the best Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and still super hot on the witty Psych TV show. Why doesn't she get more work? She's never been a bad actress by any measure.)

Forget 6, I don't even have to play "3 degrees of separation" to connect this movie to most of my childhood and favorite media. Awesome. I have to keep it in my collection, not for the story, but to see some of my favorite characters brought together.
