The concept is great, and the attention to the small details are impressive. I had zero expectations when I first watched this film. I just wanted to see Kristy Swanson. But, this movie is actually well made, in an amateruist sort of way.

I'd love to see a remake of this movie, but not a comedy. A dark, horrorific movie about a young man who has to travel the road to hell to rescuse his fiancee. This needs to be green lighted ASAP.

Indeed it is! Even though it has a lot of potential to be a horror film like Beetlejuice, I'm glad it isn't. It makes it that much more unique. Nice imagination, nice cameos, Ben AND Jerry Stiller, nice Satan portrayal, funny "inspired" mock casting of Gilbert Gottfried as Hitler. I first saw it on Chiller and got the DVD later.
