Hero vs Wag the Dog
Both movies have Dustin Hoffman and deal with manipulative media. I thought Hero was more believable but Wag the Dog was funnier and simply better.
sharei've seen both, and I love Hoffman in both movies, but "Hero" is so much better, because its more realistic (as you said) and also its a different subject, not only the media, but also the guy who was a "real" Hero although he was a very not0-nice guy and never expected any reward, its about the character itself, which Dustin Hoffman here did in a very brilliant way, and that's another thing that you have to credit this movie for, the ctors, in "Wag the dog" - which I also love - the actors didn't do much effort there, but here, Hoffman and Geana Davis were amazing,
