I don't get it...

Was Pinhead tricking Terri into giving J.P. as a sacrifice? Or did she know? Or was she trying to find a key on him to get out of there?

reply

I wouldn't say it was a trick. It was more of a deal. Pinhead gave Terri the choice of taking the room key from J.P.'s pocket to escape or to sacrifice J.P. to him and in turn he would grant her her dearest wish: to be able to dream. She chose the latter, and willfully pushed J.P. closer to Pinhead so that he could kill him and be freed from the pillar. It was pretty clear to me that she never tried to take the room key, as she was rolling J.P. with her feet rather than reaching into his pockets.

Poor Terri was so gullible. Then he turned her into an ugly cenobite. At least she could "dream" then as she said to Joey.

reply

The idea with Hellraiser is some people actually desire what the cenobites offer, even if seems impossible to you that someone could actually enjoy pain and mutilation.

reply

Compared to the original Female Cenobite, Terri was Rebecca Romijn.

Unfortunately for her and all the female Cenobites that came after, none of them could hold a candle to Angelique.
