Kevin Bernhardt gave a great performance was a great additon the hellraiser franchise in the 90s really fitted i really liked hellraiser 3 i think hellraiser series was great as a whole the first five films are classics each film has something new they are all classic horror films

The others were atrocious, the acting as a whole was slightly above a porn flick level, and it was one of the things that really ruined this movie; I've always thought that the camera and the soundtrack were really great, but the horrendous acting killed the whole thing...

Hellraiser 3 was actually the first one I saw, and remains my favorite. I know there's some cheesy acting, but I would argue there's plenty of cheese in the original and sequel as well. I just really liked the vibe of the 3rd one, and the kind of zombie/vampire transformation thing that was celebrated so well in 3 -so stupidly abandoned in the direct to video garbage.
Kevin knocks it out of the park as JP. He's great, and so is the rest of the cast. Give it another go, this movie is a riot, very creative, and far edgier than most horror films today.
