Why?

I'm watching this movie now, and I missed a few minutes. Did they explain why Harry never brought Daniel back? Did he die or something?

reply

Never mind -- looks like they're explaining it now.

reply

I have to know, does he die in the end?

reply

I don't think so

reply

what an odd little thread this is.

its been awhile since this was posted and you may have watched it again in the meantime..but to answer your question, he doesnt die in the film..although one would have to assume he WOULD die eventually...

Harry didnt bring him back because he died in a fire trying to save daniel, when the military found the capsule they thought it was a hot water heater so eyebrows were never raised.

Claim: Walt Frozen Disney Disney arranged to have himself frozen in cryonic chamber full of liquid nitrogen upon his death, and he now awaits the day when medical technology makes his re-animation possible.
Status: False.
Origins: When the "frozen Disney" rumor was started, and by whom, is unknown. The privacy Disney maintained concerning his personal life extended to his death, and the lack of details available about his funeral and burial arrangements -- combined with his reputation as a technological innovator -- has helped foster the story of Disney's cryonic suspension ever since.

there is a fire where dan is frozen, his friend tries to save him, but dies in the fire, thus daniel remains there for years

reply

They said that he died a few months after he was frozen. He never told anyone about it, so no one knew that Daniel was there. He just kind of got pushed aside in that metal thing until Elijah Wood's character found him.

reply

However, there were other scientists there when Daniel went in so why did they not do anything about it.

good question...

"I'm the Police Chief, I know everything..."

reply

Yet Harry's child met Helen, thus she had contact with either Harry or Harry's wife who neglected to ever tell her, "Oh, by the way, Daniel's frozen in a metal casing".
