I'm watching this movie now, and I missed a few minutes. Did they explain why Harry never brought Daniel back? Did he die or something?

shareThey said that he died a few months after he was frozen. He never told anyone about it, so no one knew that Daniel was there. He just kind of got pushed aside in that metal thing until Elijah Wood's character found him.
