Looking for similar film...

Around the same time as this came out, I remember seeing a film that was quite similar to this one.

Instead of just one person going into cryogenic stasis, there were 2 friends. They were in some kind of pods in an abandoned warehouse. They were only supposed to be in there for a short time, and like in Forever Young, the 'experiment' went wrong, and resulted in one of the friends waking up and getting out of the pod, and trying to figure out what year it was. Then he went back and helped get his friend out of the other pod.
The basic romantic subplot was similar to Forever Young - one of the friends was trying to find his old girlfriend/wife, and getting a shock when she was much older.

Does anyone else remember this film, and what it was called?
