Hey SeasonalAffective. This one is now a classic for me man, buuut, Good Burger is one of the top contenders,

Gravity is another. Deep space exploration vibes.

Lastly, Sigur Ros has one movie known as Heima, Just an hour of tranquility & peace.

Another one I love watching is license to drive. Classic teen movie from that era.

OOh yes I totally forgot that-best of all of those types maybe...and Masur plays dad in both Encino man and License... LOL

Agreed. I also find "Don't Tell Mom..." to be somewhat of the same comfort film type, but I can watch Encino Man more often without it feeling played out. Anyone got any others?

Another 80's comedy that's kind of a forgotten gem is...moving violations. Not so much a teen movie but oh does it make me laugh.
