Heathcliff's hair...
... bugs me so much, I keep thinking of Mel Gibson from "BraveHeart." I can understand why Heathcliff would have long hair at the beginning, but why not cut it off when he becomes a rich "gentleman"? He looks ridiculous. Did Heathcliff have long hair in the novel?
Come to think of it, I'm not crazy about a lot of the hairstyles in this movie; they look like they're a part of a fabraicated haunted house. Perhaps, since this is a dark tale, the makers wanted the appearances of the characters to match?...
