Saw this movie recently and realized it sucks

I'd say it's one of those classic 'so bad it's good' movies. Only saw it for the first time yesterday and since I'm now 22, it didn't exactly have the desired effect (i.e. scaring me to the point of a near-death experience!) Part of me wishes I'd seen it when I was a lot younger, but then I think I may have been scarred for life with that evil-ass baby (I don't do dolls!) Would recommend this movie for a good laugh though - that bear was hilarious!

Writer David Goyer has admitted the film isn't very good. He even mentioned he was given only 8 days to write the script.

I have to admit that I found it kind of boring. The demonic toys were cool, the music score is great (it's Richard Band, after all), but it never was much fun for me.

This movie does not suck whatsoever. It is one of the best I've seen in a long time. I don't know what film you were watching, but it certainly isn't the same one I was. The acting was wonderful. I don't think there was one weak performance in the entire film. The story was a great, interesting idea and I feel it was well executed. It was a fun, enjoyable horror film. Baby Oopsie Daisy is one of the most hilarious characters in horror history. I love her so much.

Yup, it sucks alright. How that feminazi cop got through the whole shebang without hardly a scratch was pretty stupid.

No, this isn’t a good movie and I don’t think anyone ever thought it was supposed to be a serious, well made entry into the Horror genre. Is is a fun watch, though.
