I read this bit of trivia from *mdb for this movie. What does it mean? Just looking for people to talk through what genres are meant here, and how exactly the movie changes upon second watch after knowing the twist.

Just to make clear, I know what the twist is, but I don't know how that affects the genre of the entire movie.

Because it goes from a political-drama to a sort of LGBTQIA2S+ film once the twist is established.
