Did Jude know about Dil?

I bought the movie on DVD the other day and while I've seen it a number of times years ago, there were certain things that stuck out that I didn't notice at first.

Jude starts following Dil around, ends up in her hair salon, then when Dil and Fergus go into the drag club, the Metro, Jude is sitting there waiting for them. My question is didn't she know by that point Dil was transgender since she knew where she lived and knew her every move? I know this was never said but it's hard for me to believe Jude had all this info on Dil, knew she hung out in a gay bar/drag club, but didn't know this one main fact; that Dil is transgender. I guess we were supposed to suspend belief and not realize that.
