Tyler's reaction to the Good Guy Doll commercial

Lol did anyone find it really stupid the way he reacted to that commercial? i don't know how old he is in this, maybe 11? 12? But a kid as big as him shouldn't be so amazed at some cartoon advertising a doll.

That slow motion scene of him saying "WOOOOOOOOW" when he saw that good guy commercial was hilarious. Lol he seemed a little too amazed by that commercial, almost like "Wow you mean i could have a doll thats my friend!". At least Andy was 6 when he was excited over the good guy dolls, Tyler looks alot older than Andy was.

Maybe the original script called for Tyler to be much younger than the actor who played him, and they never adjusted the script accordingly.

I agree the kid looked silly but I bet you were one of the obnoxious people that picked on anyone in school who was different than you or you thought was geeky or something. If you want someone to get shot it should be someone that is an ass hole not someone you think is annoying.

I always thought that scene was weird too. Tyler didn't seem to be that young enough, to the point of becoming obsessed with a doll. But hey...maybe Tyler had issues or something, lol. But I know what you mean.

Tyler grew up sent to military schools--probably had tons of mental issues.
