Chucky was in Childs Play 3 ruthless and Brutal.

I just watched this today. And yeah, he was much more brutal in this one than the first two. The dumpster truck killing, swapping out the fake bullets for real, slitting the barber's throat....he actually committed a mass murder (by proxy but still) of teenagers...very twisted.

Its funny- the next two films would infamously turn the series into self-parody while this one is so goddamn dark. Its almost a deconstruction of the plot of the first two. The unspoken implication at the end of all supernatural slasher flicks is always "well the easy part (stopping the villain) is done. Now how the hell do we explain his trail of bodies that implicates us and what do we do when they don't believe our ridiculous story?" This movie answers the question head on- you get sent to what is essentially a prison. You kind of wonder if the next one went to the opposite side of the spectrum because it just couldn't get any more brutal than this.
